During the inspection process, the use of high resolution microscopes fitted with top of the line digital cameras are used to capture and save the component images. Our QC dept uses these microscopes to check lead conditions (flux, excess solder, bent leads or any other signs of use), Part markings (Ghost markings, paint splatter or laser burns). They check the surface of the part for coatings, and look for any FOD.
